Job SummaryThe Progressive Care Registered Nurse plays a vital role in our team, coordinating and delivering exceptional patient-centered care. In collaboration with medical providers, the RN provides pre-operative and post-operative nursing care, advocating for patients to ensure an unparalleled patient experience.
Responsibilities- Assess patient condition during admission and each shift, identifying and reporting any changes in patient status.
- Perform procedures or functions as ordered by medical providers.
- Document the administration of care in the patient medical record in a timely and thorough manner.
- Administer prescribed medications and monitor patient response.
- Maintain knowledge of medications, procedures, and equipment used in cardiac and medical-surgical patient care.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
- Registered Nurse licensure and Associate Degree, Bachelor's Degree, or Registered Nurse Diploma.
