Cardiac Catheterization Technologist

As a Cardiac Cath Lab Tech at Grand View Health, you will play a vital role in providing direct patient care, including diagnostic and/or therapeutic invasive procedures. You will work closely with the Invasive Cardiologist and Department Manager to assess, plan, deliver, and evaluate care for patients served. Your collaboration with other members of the healthcare team will be essential in achieving optimal patient outcomes.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care, including diagnostic and/or therapeutic invasive procedures, as directed by the Invasive Cardiologist and Department Manager.
- Assess, plan, deliver, and evaluate care for patients served, collaborating with other members of the healthcare team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
- May provide other support services, dictated by patient needs, as a delivery team member.
- On call hours required for 24/7 after hour coverage for emergencies and urgent procedures with a response time of 30 minutes.
- Vocational diploma from an accredited school of Cardiovascular Science required.
- Or vocational diploma from an AMA approved radiologic technology program and over 6 months to 1 year in the Interventional field required.
- Associate's degree and over 1 year to 3 years invasive cardiology or interventional radiology experience preferred.
- RCIS certification from CCI or R.T.(R) registration from ARRT, upon hire, required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS), Upon hire, required.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Upon hire, required.
- Successful completion of cardiac arrhythmia interpretation course, within 60 days of hire, required.
