We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team as a Trainmaster. In this role, you will oversee the development and implementation of transportation department plans, policies, and procedures that prioritize safety, efficiency, and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and maintain knowledge of FRA regulations, Company operating rules, and ABTH rules to ensure compliance.
  2. Create and update department policies and procedures to meet quality standards.
  3. Manage qualification and certification programs for locomotive engineers and conductors.
  4. Lead and support train crews to perform their duties safely and efficiently.
  5. Conduct thorough investigations of accidents and incidents, provide necessary notifications, and implement corrective actions.
  6. Deliver training, testing, performance monitoring, and skill check rides in accordance with regulatory requirements.

This position requires a strong understanding of railway operations, excellent leadership skills, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and productive work environment. The salary for this role is estimated at $90,000 - $120,000 per year, based on industry standards and location.
