IT Security Specialist

As a key member of our team at SF Staffing Solutions, the IT Security Specialist will play a critical role in overseeing and coordinating security efforts across the company. This includes implementing ISO 27001 standards in North America, collaborating with facilities management and other groups, and ensuring the effective implementation of security initiatives and standards from Corporate.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of information technology and security issues, as well as experience with business continuity planning, auditing, and risk management. They will also have the ability to negotiate contracts and vendors effectively.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Working with outside consultants to conduct independent security audits
• Staying informed about all IT security-related topics
• Being involved early in any plans or changes in information technology
• Having the right of veto on all decisions concerning their area of responsibility
• Reporting directly to the plant management
• Having access rights to all areas where IT is used and related data are processed
• Supporting the company security officer in collecting data related to investigations in case of suspected criminal acts
• Performing audits on IT security or initiating audits conducted by independent third parties
• Representing the plant location in the area of IT security management
• Taking necessary emergency measures in coordination with the CIO

The IT Security Specialist will also be responsible for representing the plant location in the corporate division IT security board, reporting to the plant manager and corporate IT-Security Manager about the status quo in IT security, and providing internal advice to users on IT security risks.

Additionally, they will participate in establishing the organization's information security policies and guidelines, as well as ensuring the implementation of these policies and procedures within the plant location.

This is a critical role that requires a strong understanding of information technology and security issues, as well as excellent communication and collaboration skills.
