Job Summary

The Registered Nurse (RN) 2 is a key member of our healthcare team, responsible for delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced operating room environment. As a skilled and compassionate nurse, you will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for a diverse patient population, from simple to complex cases.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care, prioritizing their physical and emotional needs.
  • Apply principles of purposeful, organized thinking to make clinical judgments and decisions, ensuring the best possible outcomes for patients.
  • Gather and interpret data through history taking and physical assessment, developing and implementing interventions to meet patient care needs.
  • Develop, evaluate, and revise patient plans of care, collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care transitions.
  • Document patient care and progress, maintaining accurate and detailed records.
  • Direct and supervise others in the performance of delegated nursing activities, promoting a culture of teamwork and collaboration.
  • Teach patients and their families about care plans, empowering them to manage their health and well-being after discharge.
  • Manage time and resources effectively, prioritizing patient care and ensuring efficient use of hospital resources.
  • Administer medications to patients, adhering to hospital policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • One year of prior clinical nursing experience, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality patient care.
  • Evidence of experience working effectively and positively with patients, care providers, and the multidisciplinary team.
  • Evidence of the ability to perform as a member of a team, prioritizing collaboration and communication.
