Job Summary

Clark Associates Companies is seeking a skilled Local Delivery Driver to join our team. As a Local Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for handling the loading and delivery of orders for local customers.

This role requires a high level of customer service while navigating delivery routes and completing threshold-level delivery services. In the event of any downtime or lapse of orders, the Local Delivery Driver will serve as an Operations Professional within the store itself, assisting with daily material handling responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Properly organize and load picked and prepared orders into delivery van
  • Complete morning and afternoon delivery routes
  • Professionally and politely interact with and deliver product to customer locations
  • Effectively refer customers to a member of the Sales team to answer relevant questions
  • Maintain general cleanliness of delivery van

Requirements

  • Class C license and a clean driving record
  • High school diploma or GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Demonstrated knowledge of our business model and a strong work ethic
  • Basic customer service skills and ability to function well with coworkers
  • Strong verbal communication skills and ability to think critically
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple assignments and deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Work Environment

The Local Delivery Driver will work in a fast-paced environment with occasional exposure to moving mechanical parts and vehicles. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet to moderate.
