Geotechnical Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Geotechnical Engineer to join our team at Atlantic Testing Laboratories (ATL). As a Geotechnical Engineer, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, from field investigations to engineering analyses and recommendations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform and lead field investigations, engineering analyses, calculations, and provide engineering recommendations
• Develop proposals and cost estimates, track and evaluate project progress, budgets and recommend changes
• Prepare, review and evaluate laboratory or field reports
• Interact with clients, contractors, architects, engineers, and other team members to effectively complete projects while representing ATL
• Provide technical support to drillers and field staff
• Motivate and inspire team members to accomplish project goals
• Maintain safety and quality standards on assigned projects

Requirements:

• B.S. degree in Civil Engineering
• Professional Engineer (PE) license or Engineer in Training (EIT) certificate
• Good communication, problem solving and organizational skills
• Strong computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Must possess a valid driver's license
• Able to review and interpret project plans and specifications
• Able to execute and manage multiple office and field tasks
• Positive attitude with ability to work independently and in a team environment
