Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to join our team at an outpatient facility in Big Spring, TX. As a Physical Therapist, you will work with patients of all ages, helping them recover from injuries, illnesses, or disorders, and improving their overall quality of life.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and assess patients to develop personalized physical therapy treatment plans.
  • Implement treatment plans to improve patients' mobility, reduce pain, and restore function.
  • Use a variety of techniques, including exercises, manual therapy, and equipment, to address patient needs.
  • Monitor patient progress, adjust treatment plans as necessary, and provide clear communication about ongoing care.
  • Educate patients and families about the recovery process and techniques for at-home exercises.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.
  • Maintain accurate records of patient progress, treatment plans, and outcomes.
  • Stay current with the latest advancements in physical therapy and integrate new practices as appropriate.
Requirements
  • Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree: Must have earned a DPT from a program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE).
  • National Physical Therapy Exam (NPTE): Must have passed the NPTE to demonstrate entry-level knowledge in physical therapy.
  • Bachelor's Degree: Preferably in a science-related field.
  • State Licensure: Must hold a valid physical therapy license to practice in Texas.
  • Certification: Board certification in a specialized area of physical therapy (optional but preferred).
  • Criminal Background Check: Must have a completed and cleared criminal background check.
  • Jurisprudence Module: Must complete the required Texas Jurisprudence Module.
