Echo Sonographer - Part-Time

As an Echo Sonographer, you will work under the guidance of a physician, executing and documenting diagnostic echocardiographic procedures, including 2D and M-Mode echocardiograms and stress echocardiograms. You will also manage the connection, disconnection, and data retrieval from Holter monitors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain echocardiography and Holter monitoring equipment, performing various diagnostic tests.
- Accurately calculate and report flow velocities, valve areas, and pressure gradients, ensuring high-quality examinations for physician assessment.
- Communicate urgent findings to physicians and maintain meticulous records for certification and quality assurance.
- Ensure the cleanliness and adequate supply of echocardiography and Holter monitoring materials, and accurately input data into the management system.
- Collaborate with office staff to efficiently manage patient flow while adhering to safety and infection control standards.
- Uphold patient confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA regulations, respond to inquiries promptly, and provide necessary patient education.
- Engage in ongoing educational initiatives to enhance professional skills and maintain certification.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma and completion of an accredited health education program.
- Current certification from the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers in adult cardiac imaging (RDMS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Proven clinical competency in line with organizational standards.
- Familiarity with practice management systems, electronic medical records, and scheduling processes.

Physical Demands:

Compensation:
- $43.00 to $45.00 per hour
