We are seeking a highly skilled Staff Physician to join our team at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. As a key member of our Department of Ophthalmology, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the advancement of medical knowledge.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement comprehensive medical treatment plans addressing biological, psychological, and sociocultural domains.
- Perform physical assessments of patients in a logical and respectful manner.
- Prescribe medical treatment and clinical drugs to patients.
- Gather essential and accurate information through the review of pertinent records and interviews with patients, family members, caregivers, and other health professionals.
- Report to the responsible physician and comply with policy co-sign.
- Assume responsibility for increasing knowledge and expertise by attending continuing educational offerings.
- Maintain confidentiality of all patient information according to federal and state guidelines and regulations.
- M.D. in a relevant field.
- Certification in a relevant specialty or field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience.
- Ability to maintain effective interpersonal relationships.
- Ability to work independently and/or in a collaborative environment.
- Ability to analyze, organize, and prioritize work under pressure while meeting deadlines.
