Job Title: Automotive Customer Service Coordinator
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the logistics and distribution of automotive products for OEM and PIA Automotive accounts, addressing demand-related challenges both internally and externally.
- Ensure precise delivery and superior customer service through efficient order processing, effective communication, and collaboration with various departments to resolve inquiries.
- Act as the primary contact for customers regarding general inquiries, including inventory, scheduling, shipping, and order status.
- Establish and nurture strong business relationships with clients by delivering prompt and accurate service to enhance customer loyalty and satisfaction.
- Address customer complaints by generating corrective action reports, including 8D and STR reports.
- Maintain data integrity in reports and ensure accurate data entry within customer-specific systems.
- Continuously educate and develop the SEWS team on customer procedural requirements to achieve optimal on-time delivery performance and customer satisfaction.
- Review, process, and distribute customer orders, inventory reports, and other related documentation.
- Facilitate meetings to support supply chain planning for future customer orders and to address current shortages and overdue orders.
- Manage program activities related to costs, production issues, delivery performance, and corrective action requests.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or a related field is preferred.
- Experience: A minimum of 3 to 5 years in production, material planning, or warehouse operations.
- Skills: Proficiency in English is required, along with business-level Spanish reading, writing, and speaking skills.
- Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Word) is essential.
- Mathematical Skills: Strong analytical and mathematical skills are necessary.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.
- Work Environment: Ability to perform effectively in a high-pressure environment.
- Preferred Experience: Familiarity with sequential manufacturing, scheduling, international business, and import processes.
- Additional Knowledge: Understanding of the effective manufacture and distribution of finished goods, particularly in the automotive sector.
