Key Responsibilities

  • Gather and articulate requirements using various methodologies.
  • Define business objectives, needs, and goals.
  • Identify opportunities for enhancement in products, processes, and team dynamics.
  • Develop a structured approach to business analysis, including stakeholder engagement and communication strategies for large-scale projects.
  • Create and maintain a stakeholder engagement plan to ensure active participation throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Convert business needs into detailed requirements (functional, non-functional, and transitional).
  • Adapt or create documentation frameworks tailored to project specifications.
  • Establish a requirements change management process with appropriate traceability.
  • Ensure alignment of solutions with business objectives.
  • Plan and facilitate business analysis activities during the Discovery phase.
  • Oversee project/product backlog management.
  • Advise on prioritization of requirements at all levels.
  • Act as the Business Analyst Team Lead within the project.
  • Conduct technical interviews for business analyst roles.
  • Mentor and coach fellow business analysts within the project or organization.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in business analysis.
  • Proficiency in developing various types of requirements (business, user, system, transitional).
  • Capability to effectively guide elicitation processes in complex projects.
  • Skills to identify and resolve discrepancies in project requirements.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, Lean, SAFe) or traditional approaches (RUP).
  • Expertise in planning business analysis strategies and facilitating communication.
  • Ability to create or modify templates for project use.
  • Familiarity with stakeholder communication techniques (workshops, meetings, interviews).
  • Quick learner with the ability to assimilate information from various sources.
  • Experience in diagram creation (UML, BPMN).
  • Understanding of software development processes and the ability to influence them.
  • Competence in managing business analysis activities across all delivery phases.
  • Expertise in project scope management and control of scope creep.
  • Ability to assess project risks and respond appropriately.
  • Experience in estimating business analysis efforts for large-scale projects.
  • Advanced knowledge of at least one requirements management tool (Jira, Target Process, Rally).
  • Experience in mentoring and leading a team of business analysts.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Product-oriented mindset.
  • Proficient in English (C1 level).
