Role Responsibilities

As a Support Specialist, you will play a crucial role in assisting clients with their independent living objectives, in alignment with MIMI's core values and mission. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Facilitating personal hygiene and bathing skills
  • Assisting with medication management
  • Guiding clients in budgeting and financial management
  • Supporting shopping and nutrition planning
  • Implementing safety procedures and mobility training
  • Teaching the use of public transportation
  • Enhancing personal and social behavior skills
  • Promoting sleep hygiene practices
Qualifications
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Valid driver's license in good standing
  • Successful completion of a background check
  • Negative results on drug screening
  • Experience with individuals who have brain injuries is preferred
