Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Electrical and Controls Engineer to join our team at Campbell Soup Company. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for creating a strategic vision for automation, controls, and electrical safety programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute on strategic vision for automation and control systems
  • Participate in defining engineering standards and site subject matter expert on manufacturing automation equipment and control systems
  • Develop and manage or participate on capital projects up to any approved capital investment amount
  • Provide daily technical support to Plant Operations to drive performance objectives and improvement initiatives
  • Support advanced troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of the plant's computer-driven controls systems
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
  • 3+ years of controls experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience with high-speed automation, robotics, and VFDs
  • Solid understanding of PC-based systems
  • Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and meet deadlines
Preferred Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or M.A/M.S in Electrical Engineering
  • Proficient with Allen Bradley PLC and HMI programming, vision systems, Fanuc robotics
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and advanced computer skills in MS Project, MS Office
