Gypsum Finishing Carpenter

We are seeking a skilled Gypsum Finishing Carpenter to join our team at RQ Construction. This position is responsible for the taping and finishing of gypsum board, requiring expertise in metal framing and gypsum board installation. The ideal candidate will have two or more years of experience in gypsum finishing and one or more years of field or trade work experience in commercial construction.

The successful candidate will be responsible for tasks such as taping, finishing joints, installing and finishing corners, joint caulking, and potentially level 5 spraying. They will also be required to use the appropriate equipment and implement safety practices in support of RQ's Mission, Vision, and Values.

RQ Construction offers on-the-job training and certifications to support the growth and development of our employees. Prevailing wages will be paid for work performed on a military installation, ranging from $22-26PH.

Key qualifications include:

• Two or more years of gypsum finishing experience
• One or more years of field or trade work experience in commercial construction
• CPR and First Aid Certifications preferred
