Job Description

A well-established apparel company, Design Resources, is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our Warehouse Team as a Warehouse Logistics Coordinator. This role will be based in our distribution center in Edwardsville, KS.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the warehouse manager in maintaining a safe, efficient, and effective work environment.
  • Lead and motivate warehouse personnel to achieve daily operations and project goals.
  • Operate and maintain equipment such as reach trucks, pickers, and other machinery, recognizing faults or damage to said equipment.
  • Use our WMS system to correct inventory discrepancies and utilize proper internal processes to ensure prompt order picking and shipping.
  • Communicate with other departments and companies in an efficient and cordial manner.
  • Prioritize and complete projects or tasks given by management.
  • Direct warehouse personnel in standard daily operations and projects.
  • Conduct complete inventories and annual cycle counts.
  • Practice safe warehouse procedures, identify potential hazards, and recommend improvements to standard procedures.
  • Troubleshoot product discrepancies such as invalid UPCs, mislabeling, carton markings, and other receiving accuracy-related issues.
  • Ensure compliance with Customs-Trade Partnership Against Terrorism (C-TPAT) regulations.

Requirements:

  • Hands-on work on our distribution floor.
  • Extended periods of standing and/or walking, moderate lifting, and reasonable mobility are required.
  • Must be able to handle and manipulate a variety of warehouse machinery and equipment.
  • Must be Forklift Certified.
  • A Valid Driver's License and a clean 3-year driving record.
  • Ability to multi-task and perform in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to Detail, accuracy, and completeness.
  • Comprehensive follow-through with the ability to document resolutions.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written – Bilingual in Spanish preferred.
  • Creative problem-solving.
