Job Title: Product Design Manager - Augmented Reality

We are seeking a highly skilled Product Design Manager to lead our teams working on the tools and systems required to support our portfolio of devices in Augmented Reality.

Responsibilities:
  • Hire, mentor, and manage a medium-scale design team that consistently delivers on projects and is well-balanced across the different design skill sets.
  • Responsible for overall team performance and health, resource allocation, project prioritization, and building a culture of design excellence.
  • Lead and oversee the user experience of a product from conception to launch in partnership with product managers, engineers, UX researchers, and content strategists.
  • Take broad, conceptual ideas and turn them into something useful and valuable for people using our products.
  • Contribute to high-level strategic decisions with the rest of the product and executive teams.
  • Stay on top of industry trends and emerging technologies.
Requirements:
  • 6+ years of experience in Product Design.
  • A portfolio that demonstrates relevant work, a proven understanding of best practices in product design, and a track record of shipping high-quality products.
  • 3+ years of design management experience with direct reports under your guidance and leadership.
  • 6+ years of experience working collaboratively with product, engineering, design, content, and user research teams.
  • Experience building and shipping applications or software across a variety of platforms.
  • Experience leading product direction and strategic thinking with the experience developing product goals, identifying opportunities, and making decisions based on the impact to people and the company.
  • Experience representing work to a broader product team and other leaders, clearly and succinctly articulating the goals and concepts.
  • Experience with delivering 0-1 products from concept stages to launch.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working on AR, VR, Wearables, voice assistants, or smart speakers/displays.
  • Experience working with/on Generative AI models including language and media output.
  • Experience working on large-scale, complex projects across multiple org pillars.
Compensation:

$165,000/year to $231,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
