As a Private Duty Nurse with Aveanna, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in the patient's home. This includes:
- Delivering and coordinating quality patient care: Work with patients and their families to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Observing and assessing patient condition: Continuously monitor patient condition and report any changes to the supervisor and/or physician as necessary.
- Documenting patient care: Accurately document all patient interactions, assessments, and care provided.
- Participating in care planning: Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and update patient care plans.
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- Nursing License: Be an active and licensed Registered Nurse with the state board.
- Compassion and empathy: Demonstrate a genuine interest in providing high-quality patient care.
- Strong communication skills: Effectively communicate with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
