About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our team at Apple. As a key member of our distributed systems team, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining the software and services that power our internal cloud infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop large-scale software systems that improve the feature set, availability, scalability, and security of our internal cloud infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including customer teams and the storage SRE team, to ensure seamless integration and delivery of our services.
  • Develop and maintain testable, maintainable code that meets the highest standards of quality and reliability.
Requirements
  • BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
  • At least 10 years of experience building and operating software systems.
  • At least 5 years of experience building and operating distributed systems.
  • Strong knowledge of Java and non-blocking and thread-safe programming.
  • Knowledge of distributed databases, distributed storage, or similar mass-scale distributed systems.
