Women's Health Nurse Practitioner Job Description

ZoomCare is seeking a highly skilled Women's Health Nurse Practitioner to deliver top-notch clinical care and superior customer service to our patients.

The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of experience in Women's Health and be trained in colposcopy procedures. They will be responsible for evaluating and treating patients with gynecological complaints, performing comprehensive outpatient gynecology visits, and following recognized evidence-based gynecology guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform comprehensive outpatient gynecology visits
  • Follow recognized evidence-based gynecology guidelines
  • Perform with expertise everyday procedures including IUD and implant insertion and removal, colposcopy, vulvar and endometrial biopsies, cervical polypectomy, and treatment of vulvar cysts and abscesses
  • Have expertise in Women's Health medical conditions including contraception, STIs, recurrent vaginitis, PCOS, endometriosis, fibroids, pelvic pain, abnormal bleeding, dyspareunia, HRT, and menopause management
  • Provide thorough documentation and complete lab responsibilities on a daily basis
  • Participate as an active member of our Women's Health Team and be an excellent collaborator
  • Work well with all types of clinicians including MDs, NDs, PAs, NPs, PTs, DCs, etc.
  • Refer out for surgical treatment options when necessary
  • Deliver and manage patient care through in-person visits, phone, and email
  • Deliver clinical excellence, timeliness, professionalism in all patient services
Requirements:
  • FNP or CNM with 2+ years of Women's Health experience
  • Must have experience with gynecologic procedures
  • Must be trained and have experience in colposcopy procedures
  • Controlled Substance Registration Certificate (DEA)
  • Must be able to demonstrate 2000 of work experience at the time of job offer
  • Must be eligible for the Medicare program
