Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Arbors at Sylvania. As an LPN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality nursing care to our residents and supporting the overall well-being of our community.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and provide nursing care for residents, including administering medications and performing treatments.
  • Supervise and direct junior staff members and CNAs to ensure the delivery of exceptional care.
  • Document resident conditions and nursing needs accurately and promptly.
  • Participate in counseling, disciplinary action, and termination of staff, as permitted by state practice act.
  • Assure that inventory and supplies are maintained on the unit and communicate needs for housekeeping, maintenance, or dietary assistance.
Requirements
  • Graduate of accredited LPN/LVN school of nursing.
  • Valid LPN/LVN license in the state employed.
  • One year experience in nursing preferred.
  • Ability to work cooperatively as a member of a team and communicate effectively with residents and their family members.
