About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Driver-CDL (B) to join our team at Republic Services. As a key member of our collection services team, you will be responsible for safely operating a collection truck and providing prompt, courteous, and complete waste removal services to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate a heavy truck along a designated route, reading route sheets and following maps to ensure all customers are serviced in a timely and professional manner.
  • Perform pre- and post-operation inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in compliance with company safety standards.
  • Identify unsatisfactory waste containers and tag them in accordance with applicable departmental procedures.
  • Continuously monitor waste for evidence of unacceptable waste and clean up any spills.
  • Complete required route/productivity sheets, vehicle condition reports, and other reports as needed.
Requirements
  • Class B or higher Commercial Driver's license with air brakes endorsement.
