Emergency Department Administrative Specialist

The Emergency Department Clerk is responsible for providing exceptional patient care and administrative support in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask with ease.
Key Responsibilities:
- Register patients in a timely and accurate manner
- Answer phone calls and direct to the appropriate department
- Process insurance information and payment arrangements
- Generate electronic copies of patient records
- Perform clerical tasks, including data entry and paperwork
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Medical terminology and computer skills preferred
- Clerical experience and excellent customer service skills necessary
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and pass a basic fitness test
