**Job Summary**
We are seeking a skilled Truss Assembler to join our team at Boise Cascade. As a Truss Assembler, you will be responsible for assembling trusses to customer specifications, working within assigned work groups, and transferring and staging materials. You will also assist in the production of truss components and prepare or stage completed truss materials for shipping.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Assemble trusses to customer specifications, ensuring accuracy and quality.
- Work within assigned work groups to meet production targets and deadlines.
- Transfer and stage materials, including wood products and equipment, to support truss assembly.
- Assist in the production of truss components, including cutting and shaping wood materials.
- Prepare or stage completed truss materials for shipping, ensuring they meet quality and safety standards.
- Operate machinery, including Mitek, web saws, and indexing conveyors, to produce wood materials for truss assembly.
- Maintain good housekeeping in the work area, adhering to safety protocols and regulations.
- Follow safety programs and ensure compliance with OSHA regulations.
- Demonstrate a strong commitment to safety, quality, environmental awareness, and continuous process improvement.
**Requirements**
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Two years of equivalent work experience.
- Ability to understand and communicate safety and work-related instructions.
- Alertness and adaptation to warehouse routines.
- Understanding of OSHA regulations and ability to assist with compliance.
**Preferred Qualifications**
- Three years of work experience.
