Type: Full Time, 40 hours per week
Caseload: K-8 Multidisciplinary
Compensation: $38 - $45 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

  • Designing and executing tailored education plans (IEPs) for students with diverse learning needs.
  • Establishing a nurturing and inclusive classroom atmosphere that fosters student participation and development.
  • Delivering customized instruction and modifying teaching methods to cater to the individual requirements of each learner.
  • Evaluating and tracking student performance, documenting successes, and pinpointing areas needing enhancement.
  • Working collaboratively with fellow educators, specialists, and families to ensure seamless communication and service delivery.
  • Employing a range of teaching techniques, materials, and resources to enrich student learning experiences.
  • Integrating assistive technologies and adaptive tools as necessary to support student engagement and autonomy.
  • Observing and addressing students' social-emotional growth, behavior management, and self-regulation capabilities.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Special Education is preferred.
  • Possession of a valid teaching certification or credential in Special Education.
  • Understanding of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and proficiency in their development and implementation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to work effectively with colleagues, families, and support personnel.
