Healthcare Staffing Professionals, Inc. is seeking a skilled Licensed Clinical Social Worker to provide mental health services to inmates/wards in a correctional facility in Delano, CA.
Job Responsibilities- Conduct initial mental health evaluations, including assessments of criminal, psychological, and substance abuse case history, to determine inmate needs and develop treatment plans.
- Provide crisis intervention, group psychotherapy, and face-to-face interviews with mentally ill patient-inmates/youths.
- Write clinical reports and develop treatment plans that reflect standard practice.
- Consult with supervisors, treatment team members, and correctional institutional health care personnel on complex cases.
- Document all care provided to inmates, including face-to-face contacts and Interdisciplinary Treatment Team meetings.
- Perform mental status exams and participate in IDTT meetings.
- Compile and analyze data from audits pertaining to the mental health program requirements.
- Provide written reports and consult with the Board of Prison Hearings and other correctional staff.
- Minimum of 12 continuous months of experience within the last 3 years performing services similar in scope to those defined herein, in a public or private institution.
- LCSWs must have the required licenses, permits, and/or certifications.
- Proficient in English.
