Job Summary:

As a Radiologic Technologist at Dayton Children's Hospital, you will play a vital role in producing high-quality diagnostic images for patients of all ages. This staff-level position requires minimal supervision and adherence to quality parameters as determined by the Medical Imaging department. Your responsibilities will include providing services at convenient times to meet the needs of our customers, performing tasks with strict attention to detail, and educating patients and their parents about procedures performed within the center.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Produce quality diagnostic images using all available diagnostic equipment, including EKG and patient registration.
  • Provide services at times that are regularly and conveniently available to meet the needs of the department's customers.
  • Perform tasks with minimal supervision and strict adherence to quality parameters.
  • Educate patients and their parents regarding procedures performed within the center.
  • Responsible for performance of the organization's systems and processes while continuing to recognize the importance of individual competence of staff.

Requirements:
  • HSD/GED is required.
  • Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology/Sciences is required.
  • Radiologic License - Ohio Department of Health is required.
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiography is required.
  • CPR is required.

Working Conditions:
  • Every other weekend rotation and holiday requirement.
  • FT Rad Tech position to cover all DCH locations.
