Job Overview:

Tact Staff is currently in search of a skilled Mobile Radiologic Technologist for a travel assignment. This role involves performing diagnostic imaging procedures with a high level of expertise and minimal supervision.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Conducts diagnostic imaging examinations by accurately positioning patients and utilizing appropriate immobilization techniques.
  • Selects and operates imaging equipment tailored to specific procedures while ensuring patient safety.
  • Executes portable imaging examinations in various settings, including patient rooms and emergency departments.
  • Maintains meticulous records by identifying and labeling patient films correctly.
  • Processes exposed imaging films using established techniques.
  • Completes patient requisitions with necessary details, including technologist initials and film specifications.
  • Ensures the imaging room is organized and adheres to departmental standards.
  • Prepares and assists in administering contrast media as required for specific imaging procedures.
  • Handles administrative tasks related to patient scheduling, instructions, and record maintenance.
  • Provides support to patients based on their individual needs, ensuring comfort and safety during procedures.
  • Meets physical demands of the role, including lifting and standing for extended periods.
  • Adapts care to meet the diverse needs of the patient population, considering factors such as age and cultural background.
  • Complies with the standards set forth in the Medical Center's Organizational Competencies.

Qualifications:

Applicants should possess a minimum of two years of experience in an acute care environment and demonstrate the ability to work independently in high-pressure situations.
