Chemist - Waterbase Adhesives Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Waterbase Chemist to join our team at IFS Industries. As a key member of our research and development team, you will be responsible for developing new water-based adhesives and providing technical support to our manufacturing facilities.
Key Responsibilities- Lead new and existing product development projects, including research and development of new formulations and product modifications as demanded by business needs.
- Plan, facilitate, and communicate development updates to department supervisors and provide support to manufacturing facilities with existing or modified products.
- Keep accurate and updated laboratory records and take initiative to contribute to the positive growth of the department and organization while being a positive and motivating team player.
- Bachelor's degree in chemistry, chemical engineering, or a related field, or 5-10 years of related work experience.
- Experience in research and development of water-based adhesives, with a strong understanding of chemicals, raw materials analysis, and applications of such.
- Knowledge of lab safety procedures and a proven track record of water-based adhesive development projects.
- Direct working knowledge of water-based adhesives and a proven track record of water-based adhesive development projects.
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- Results-driven and detail-oriented with excellent communication skills.
- Adaptable to change and able to manage time effectively.
- Excellent technical knowledge and good interpersonal skills.
