Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our Cardiology team at Rochester Regional Health. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and promoting a positive patient experience.

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality patient care, including administering medications, performing treatments, and documenting patient information.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical and emotional needs, and develop individualized care plans to address these needs.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, and monitor patients' responses to these interventions.
  • Document patient information accurately and thoroughly, using computerized medical records and other documentation tools.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures that promote excellent patient care.

Requirements

  • Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the state of New York.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information with discretion.
