Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Cardiovascular Technologist to join our team at HCA Florida Largo Hospital. As a Cardiovascular Technologist, you will be responsible for performing emergency procedures associated with catheterization procedures, including IAB and temporary pacer insertion.

Responsibilities
  • Recognize and identify potential and actual patient problems, collecting accurate data and participating in the patient's Place of Care in accordance with the department/unit's standards.
  • Prioritize resources to patient care and diagnostic activities based on accurate patient information and staff capabilities.
  • Assist in data collection related to cardiovascular, respiratory, neurological, renal, and peripheral vascular status.
  • Document findings and report abnormal or out-of-range results to physician.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Graduate of an accredited School of Cardiovascular Technology and/or RCIS Certification and/or ARRT IR.
  • Two years of experience in a licensed field and one year of cardiac cath lab experience.
  • LPN with one year of experience and Critical Care course within one year of hire or one year Cath Lab experience or one year RCIS or CVT or Graduate of accredited RCVT program.
