We are seeking Registered Nurses (RN) who are passionate about delivering the best possible nursing care in our patient-focused settings. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to go beyond licensure and employment requirements and become nationally certified.
Job SummaryThe Department of Nursing at Avera McKennan requires all nurses to practice at a competent level of nursing care and demonstrate a competent and professional level of behavior in their role as a RN. The American Nurses Associations (ANA) scope and standards of practice are exemplified within the position description.
Responsibilities- Utilize the nursing process to provide nursing care for patients
- Assume responsibility and accountability for individual actions and outcomes of patient care delivered on their shift
- Graduate from a CCNE or NLN accredited nursing program (strongly preferred)
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of South Dakota and/or meeting the requirements of multi-state licensure
- Strongly encouraged to complete life-saving education specific to specialty area
Monday, Wednesday, Friday, occasional weekends; PRN, as needed
PayThe hourly range for this position is $26.25 - $39.25 per hour, dependent on experience.
