Facilities Technician Job Description

Desert Mountain Club is seeking a skilled Facilities Technician to join our Engineering team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing all buildings and associated equipment to ensure a world-class club experience for our members.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct preventive maintenance and repairs to plumbing, HVAC, building structure, lighting, electrical, and mechanical equipment.
  • Identify and report hazardous situations to the Assistant Chief Engineer, Chief Engineer, or Director of Facilities and Construction.
  • Maintain the assigned maintenance vehicle in a safe and organized condition.
  • Assist in ordering and maintaining a par stock of supplies to expedite projects, repairs, and maintenance.
  • Document daily walk-throughs and record tasks, work requests, preventive maintenance, and projects completed.
Requirements:
  • At least 2 years of experience in electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and building maintenance in a hospitality or related atmosphere.
  • Diploma or certificate from a certified maintenance or trade school.
  • Prior experience in a hotel, resort, or club is a plus.
