Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Audiovisual Technician to join our team at Five-Star AudioVisual, Inc. As an Audiovisual Technician, you will be responsible for assisting with the day-to-day functions of the audiovisual office, including set-up, operation, and strike of all audiovisual sets. You will also be accountable for ensuring maximum client service, operational efficiency, and profitability levels.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service to clients and internal stakeholders
  • Contribute to the effective management of day-to-day operations according to company procedures
  • Timely and accurate set-up and strike of equipment for client functions according to company guidelines
  • Continuously increase audiovisual skills and knowledge to stay up-to-date with industry developments
  • Maintain positive public relations with hotel accounts and cultivate strong team-player orientation
  • Effectively utilize company business software to manage tasks and projects
  • Maintain a high level of professional appearance, demeanor, ethics, and image of self
  • Plan and organize multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively
  • Analyze problems and find solutions, utilizing critical thinking and creativity
Requirements
  • Minimum of one year's experience in the AV industry
  • Advanced knowledge and experience with AV set-ups and strikes
  • Background in customer service or hospitality required
  • Certification in AV technology or related courses preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work long hours on your feet and consistently lift up to 75 pounds
  • Valid Driver's License and clean driving record required to operate a Company vehicle
