Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team as a PRN CT Technologist in Cedar Falls/Waterloo. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for performing multiple imaging procedures in accordance with established parameters, providing continuity of patient care, and assisting Radiologists with procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepares patient, room, and equipment for procedure.
  • Collects history data from patient and provides patient education.
  • Provides patient cares in accordance with department policy.
  • Takes radiographic exposures appropriate to procedure.
  • Performs multiple imaging procedures and assists Radiologist with special procedures.
  • Performs trauma scanning.
  • Assists with CT Guided Biopsies.
  • Performs 3D and angiographic scanning procedures.
  • Provides radiologist pertinent information for interpretation.
  • Adheres to all safety, infection control, and colleague health policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited program in Radiography.
  • ARRT or NMTCB registered. Must have valid IDPH permit to practice. Mandatory Reporter. BLS. ARRT or NMTCB advanced CT board certification required within 24 months of CT hire.
  • High language, intermediate math, high reasoning ability.
  • Computer skills preferred.
  • Ability to work independently with speed and accuracy. Ability to work with diverse groups of people. Ability to use independent judgment to solve problems.
