Job Summary

Airport Marina Honda is seeking a skilled Lube Technician to join our Service Team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction by providing exceptional service and maintaining a clean and efficient work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Vehicle Preparation
    • Check and communicate oil level to other team members
    • Ensure tire pressure for proper inflation
    • Inspect and refill fluid levels as necessary
  • Service Center Maintenance
    • Ensure the service center is clean and presentable
  • Vehicle Repair and Maintenance
    • Complete vehicle inspection
    • Install a new oil drain plug and a new oil filter
    • Clean and lubricate fittings as needed
    • Complete any and all recalls on vehicles
    • Maintain efficiency and accuracy in diagnosing and repairing vehicles
    • Repair or replace worn parts ahead of the vehicle's breakdown or damage
  • Technical Skills
    • Use power tools, machine tools, and common hand tools to perform various tasks
Requirements
  • Education and Certifications
    • High school diploma or GED
    • Technical degree preferred
    • ASE certifications preferred
  • Experience and Skills
    • Minimum of 1 year in a service department
    • Ability to identify problems quickly
    • Knowledge of automobiles
    • Effective analytical and communication skills
    • Strong reading, computer, and mathematics skills
    • Ability to learn new technology and repair and service procedures and specifications
    • Comfortable operating electronic diagnostic equipment
    • Ability to lift 50 pounds and work on your feet for extended periods of time
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
    • Basic computer skills
    • Positive, friendly attitude

    • Willing to submit a background check and drug screen
