Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Analyze reports, maps, drawings, blueprints, tests, and aerial photographs related to soil composition, terrain, hydrological characteristics, and other topographical and geological data to plan and design projects.
  • Prepare cost proposals and define the scope of work for prospective clients.
  • Calculate costs and assess project feasibility based on data analysis.
  • Participate in meetings to present technical data to clients and other professionals.
  • Prepare or oversee the preparation and modification of reports, specifications, plans, testing schedules, and designs for projects.
  • Inspect construction sites to monitor progress and ensure compliance with engineering test plans, specifications, and safety standards.
  • Direct activities at project sites as necessary.
  • Utilize computer-assisted engineering and design software to prepare engineering and design documents.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as required.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Driver's License with a satisfactory driving record.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering.
  • 10+ years of experience in Construction Materials Testing (CMT) or Geotechnical Engineering.
  • Professional Engineer (P.E.) License.
  • Experience in team leadership or management is preferred.
