Job Summary:

The Janitorial Specialist provides cleaning and upkeep services for assigned areas. This role is ideal for individuals entering the workforce or returning with limited experience and education.

Responsibilities:

Clean and maintain buildings and facilities

Follow procedures for chemical cleaners and power equipment to prevent damage

Notify Manager of minor or major repairs or additions

Establish effective communication with clients, coworkers, and management

Comply with safety, security, and quality standards

Clean furniture, fixtures, floors, and equipment

Move heavy objects and equipment

Clean interior glass, windows, and mirrors

Wash and replace blinds

Gather and empty trash

Perform seasonal tasks such as sweeping, raking, and snow removal

Qualifications:

Must be 18 years of age or older

No experience required, on-the-job training provided

No high school diploma, GED, or college degree required

Customer service experience and 1 year of similar work experience preferred
