Sailing Counselor Job Description

Sailfish Club of Florida is seeking a skilled Sailing Counselor to join our team during Sailing Lessons and Sailing/Watersports Camp Series.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Sailing Master in planning and executing sailing lessons and camp activities.
  • Teach and instruct children (ages 8-14) in sailing and watersports skills.
  • Supervise and counsel students during on-water activities.
  • Ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all participants.
Requirements:
  • General knowledge of sailing and ability to teach and instruct children.
  • Florida Boating Safety Education I.D. Card.
  • Experience counseling/supervising on-water activities.
  • Satisfactory powerboat handling.
  • Availability during Summer months.
