The Cath Lab CV Rad Technologist plays a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our state-of-the-art cardiovascular program. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for preparing equipment, identifying patient conditions, and providing personalized care while maintaining a sterile environment.
Responsibilities
- Equipment Preparation: Ensure all necessary equipment is ready for procedures, ensuring seamless execution.
- Patient Care: Assess patient conditions, prepare, position, and provide individualized care to meet their unique needs.
- Sterile Environment: Maintain a clean and safe workspace, adhering to strict protocols to prevent infection and ensure patient safety.
- Professional Development: Serve as a preceptor for new hires and radiology students, fostering growth and knowledge sharing within the team.
- Communication: Establish and maintain strong professional relationships with physicians and leadership, promoting excellent patient care and collaboration.
Qualifications
- Completion of a 24-month formal program or military program in Radiologic Technology, eligible for American Registry of Radiologic Technologist certification.
- Previous procedural area experience preferred.
- Certification as a Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) or equivalent.
