Responsibilities- Provide assessment and planning for individualized patient care, taking into account the unique needs and circumstances of each patient.
- Communicate effectively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination and timely decision-making.
- Respond quickly and accurately to changes in patient condition or response to treatment, using your expertise and judgment to make informed decisions.
- Participate in performance improvement activities to enhance the quality and safety of patient care.
- Assume charge nurse responsibilities as needed, directing and precepting staff members to ensure effective patient care and management.
- Current State of Texas Registered Nurse Licensure from an accredited Nursing Program.
- One or more years of recent Labor and Delivery/Newborn Nursery experience preferred.
- Current BLS from the American Heart Association.
- Fetal monitoring certification from AWHONN.
- Current Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification.
