  • Prepare and File Tax Documents: Coordinate with clients to gather required documents, complete income tax returns, and ensure timely filing.
  • Financial Statement Review: Carefully examine financial statements for errors, discrepancies, and compliance with tax regulations.
  • Client Support: Provide exceptional support to clients during the tax preparation process, addressing their concerns and ensuring a smooth experience.
  • IRS Audit Support: Offer assistance to clients in the event of an IRS audit, providing guidance and support throughout the process.
  • Clerical Duties: Perform various administrative tasks as needed to support the tax preparation process.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent; a bachelor's degree in finance or accounting is preferred.
  • Professional Certifications: Valid Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN) or ability to pass tax knowledge assessment; Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license is preferred.
  • Experience: Bookkeeping experience is a plus, with a strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
