About the Role

Covelo Group is seeking a skilled Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our Educational Services team. As an RBT, you will play a vital role in supporting students with behavior challenges in a school setting.

Key Responsibilities

As a school behavior technician, you will work closely with teachers and administrators to develop and implement individualized behavior plans for students. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Providing one-on-one support to students with behavior challenges in a mainstream classroom or separate classroom setting
  • Collaborating with teachers and administrators to develop and implement individualized behavior plans
  • Observing and reporting student progress towards behavioral and academic goals
  • Helping students learn to manage their behavior and optimize their learning experience

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior experience working with children in a home, facility, or school setting (preferably in ABA)
  • Completion of the Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification
  • BLS certification
