We are currently seeking several Material Handler professionals to join our operations. This role offers a competitive wage range starting from $17.30 to $18.80 per hour, depending on the shift. Various shifts are available for this direct hire opportunity.
Key Responsibilities- Manage inventory by stocking supplies, maintaining precise counts, and delivering parts and finished products to meet production and shipping timelines.
- Operate overhead cranes as required.
- Utilize work orders, sales orders, and storeroom procedures effectively.
- Assist in the preparation and execution of physical inventories for all components.
- Perform data entry tasks using an ERP system, including but not limited to picking parts, labor tracking, and material receipts.
- Receive and unload deliveries, ensuring items are in good condition and stored appropriately, while completing necessary documentation.
- Package products for shipment using suitable materials and prepare required shipping documents.
- High school diploma or GED is mandatory.
- Prior experience in a manufacturing setting is advantageous.
- Familiarity with ERP systems is preferred; experience with SAP is a plus.
- Ability to comprehend a variety of instructions presented in written, oral, diagram, or schedule formats.
- Capability to obtain forklift certification for operating forklifts, including RAYMOND upright models.
- Willingness to work overtime as needed.
- Competitive pay structure with scheduled increases every three months.
- First shift (6a–2:30p) starts at $17.30 per hour.
- Second shift (2p–10:30p) starts at $18.30 per hour.
- Third shift (10p–6:30a) starts at $18.80 per hour.
- Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision coverage, 401k, paid time off, and paid holidays.
- Successful candidates must pass a background check and drug screening.
