About the Role

We are seeking a highly qualified Faculty, Visual Communications-ARTC to join our team at LSC-North Harris. As a faculty member, you will be responsible for teaching courses in Visual Communication at a variety of times and locations in response to institutional needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach courses in Visual Communication, developing and using a variety of teaching methods and materials to assist students in meeting course objectives.
  • Evaluate student progress, providing timely feedback and support to ensure student success.
  • Develop and use a syllabus for each course within college and departmental guidelines.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to improve teaching methods and stay current in the field of Visual Communication.
  • Contribute to the development of curriculum and assessment of student learning outcomes.
Requirements

To be considered for this position, you must have an Associate's degree or higher in Visual Communication or a related field, with a minimum of 3 years of non-teaching work experience in the field. You should also have demonstrated evidence of proficiency in Visual Communication and excellent oral and written communication skills.
