The EHSS Coordinator will provide support in all Environmental Health Safety & Security (EHSS) functions and coordinate plant-wide safety and environmental efforts and compliance. Responsibilities may include EHSS specific projects, program implementation, audits, training, compliance, risk assessments, worker's compensation, and EHSS systems administration.

• Assist management with preparing annual plant budget for EHSS
• Represent facility on Global EHSS Council
• Perform safety training sessions and hold toolbox talks with plant operators
• Manage EHSS through ISO-based management platform and reporting tools
• Perform routine tasks such as project safety plans, job hazard analyses, incident investigations, workplace observations, and ensuring safety equipment is maintained
• Assist with Company-wide programs such as drug testing and safety awards
• Report safety performance to Corporate EHSS Director and plant management

• Bachelor's in Occupational Health & Safety/EHS related field
• 2+ years related experience
• ASP (Associate Safety Professional) or CSP (Certified Safety Professional) preferred
• Good general problem-solving skills
• Knowledge and current understanding of all applicable regulations including federal, state, and local laws and standards (US EPA, SSHA, DOT, OSHA, etc.)
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Effective written & verbal communication
• Moderate project management - Safety meetings, Safety committees, Leadership meetings, manage ISO program
