Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Medical Laboratory Technician to join our team at AdventHealth. As a Medical Laboratory Technician, you will be responsible for performing various laboratory procedures in assigned areas, exercising independent judgment under general supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform analytical testing of blood and/or human biological specimens.
  • Exercise independent judgment under general supervision.
  • Actively participate in outstanding customer service and maintain relationships that are equally respectful to all.
  • Perform various support activities to facilitate operation of assigned department or work area.
  • Perform assigned pre-analytical activities related to laboratory testing.
  • Perform all expected tests and analytical procedures for assigned department or work area efficiently and accurately.
  • Provide and act on technical and support information related to the elements of laboratory testing for all age groups.

Requirements:

  • Associate's degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or an equivalent term.
  • Medical Laboratory Technician License/Certification.
