Job Title: CT Technologist

Cleveland Clinic's Lakewood Family Health Center is seeking a skilled CT Technologist to join our team.

About the Role:

As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for operating computerized tomography (CT) scanners to produce high-quality images of patients' internal organs and tissues. You will work closely with physicians to ensure accurate scanning instructions and administer contrast materials as needed.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Acquire patient chart data and review requisitions to determine correct room setup and identify any specific medical problems or contraindications to the study.
  • Educate patients regarding the procedure, equipment, and exam to ensure understanding and cooperation.
  • Maintain all aspects of the CT area, including technical and clerical components, to ensure proper quality assurance results and required documentation.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
  • Registered Technologist credentialed by The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and in good standing.
  • Certification in Computed Tomography (CT) required within one year of hire.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • One year of experience as a General Radiologic Technologist.
Physical Requirements:

The ideal candidate will be able to stand and walk for extended periods, lift or assist with lifting patients of varying weight, and manipulate equipment daily.

Personal Protective Equipment:

The candidate will follow standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required.
