Job Summary

The Barber will be responsible for providing high-quality barbering services to clients, including haircuts, shaves, and styling. The ideal candidate will have a passion for delivering exceptional customer service and a commitment to staying up-to-date with the latest trends and techniques in the industry.

Responsibilities

  • Client Experience
    • Provide a positive and welcoming experience for all clients
    • Ensure client comfort and satisfaction at all times
  • Barbering Services
    • Perform all barbering services, including haircuts, shaves, and styling
    • Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of products and services offered by the salon
  • Client Relationships
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to retain and expand business
    • Provide consistent delivery of service and product knowledge to clients
  • Team Collaboration
    • Participate in salon activities, including staff meetings, promotions, and continuing education
    • Adhere to compliance regulations for all Federal and State guidelines related to professional licensing

Qualifications

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

  • Licensure
    • Possession of an active Tennessee Barber license
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Service-minded and able to analyze client needs and hair to select the best product and style
    • Active listening skills and high attention to detail
    • Previous successful work experience in the industry is a plus
  • Personal Qualities
    • Committed to wellness and continuing education
    • Reliable and able to work in a fast-paced environment
