The Resident Services Nurse is a key member of our team at Maplewood Mayflower Place ALF LLC, responsible for delivering high-quality care to our residents. As a LPN/RN Wellness Nurse, you will work closely with the Resident Services Director to implement and coordinate resident care services, ensuring the well-being and satisfaction of our residents.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and support Resident Services Department associates, including C.N.A.'s, to ensure excellent care delivery.
- Assist with medication management and support residents with self-administration of medication.
- Maintain positive relationships with residents, families, and physicians, ensuring open communication and addressing concerns promptly.
- Report significant incidents and changes in resident needs to the Executive Director/Resident Services Director.
- Support the completion of resident assessments and service plans, ensuring individualized care.
- Assist with clinical assessments and recertifications as required by ALSA.
- Participate in hiring, training, and performance management within the department, ensuring a skilled and dedicated team.
- Attend in-service programs, training sessions, and associate meetings to stay updated on best practices and company policies.
- Assist with scheduling and staffing of Resident Services Assistants as needed, ensuring adequate coverage.
- Provide coaching and mentoring to Resident Services Department associates, promoting growth and development.
- Support residents and families to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction, addressing concerns and resolving issues promptly.
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) currently licensed to practice in the appropriate state(s).
- Basic first aid and CPR certification.
- Two years of full-time or full-time equivalent clinical experience.
- Experience in assisted living or long-term care settings preferred.
- Experience working with seniors and a passion for delivering high-quality care.
